The problem
A pioneering music platform, Jamma Music had the vision to connect artists with opportunities but was struggling to monetise their offering. Despite having a strong base of artist profiles, the platform lacked the crucial functionality to facilitate actual bookings and generate revenue.
Jamma Music began with a bold vision: to create a platform where musicians could find work and collaborate with fellow artists. While they had successfully built an MVP where artists could create profiles, the platform was essentially functioning as a static directory. Without booking capabilities, payment processing, or collaboration tools, Jamma was unable to generate revenue or deliver real value to their user base.
The Solution
We revolutionised the platform by developing a comprehensive SaaS solution that transformed how artists connect with opportunities. At the heart of the new platform is a sophisticated booking engine powered by Stripe, ensuring secure and seamless payments for all transactions.
To facilitate clear communication between artists and bookers, we implemented an integrated messaging system that allows for detailed booking discussions and easy expense management. We also created a dedicated collaboration space where artists can connect and work together, fostering a supportive community within the platform.
To encourage platform adoption, we introduced a strategic free booking system for first-time users. Additionally, we developed a dynamic job board where venues and event organisers can post opportunities directly, creating a centralised hub for music industry work.
